Congratulations, Gangplankers! We had five resident’s boats in the District Holiday Boat Parade, one in the Alexandria Boat Parade, and five in Light Up Southwest DC this year. Most participants were designing and building for weeks, one masterfully built his display in a day, and all were in it to WIN IT!

Captain Bob Rose, Digger, and team with a Holiday Themed #DCUnicorns, won the Most Ingenious Idea Award.
Captain Ramsey Poston, on Sojourner, and team honoring Captain White’s Seafood City, won the Founder’s Award.
Captains Elaine and Dan Ricks, on Sante’, created their theme COEXIST, to win the Spirit of DC Award here at the Wharf, in Alexandria, they won Best of Alexandria Show, and in Light up SWDC, they won Best Balcony! Winners!! Congratulations!!
